Life presents us with many lessons. Out of all life experience comes growth. With over 15 years of experience, 7 of them in private practice, I see clients of all ages and from most walks of life. I offer individual, marital and family therapy and also assess and treat children and counsel parents.

I believe strongly in the healing properties of herbal and homeopathic medicines and draw from the rich tradition of African herbal medicine, which encompasses knowledge and herbs from all over Africa, India and China - as well as homeopathic and naturopathic remedies. In my practice, I have had to help my patients deal with the psychological impact of their ailments - ranging from HIV, cancer, AIDS, to menopause, arthritis, anxiety/stress and even self-confidence issues surrounding personal presence and beauty. In doing so, I came to understand the link between the psychological and physical effects of these ailments, and became dedicated to helping resolve both of these! As a result, I have spent many years developing extremely effective herbal compounds to aid in the treatment of the symptoms and ailments I came to experience in my counseling practice.

Many companies manufacture and market natural remedies, but not all of them know what they are doing! In order to be absolutely sure of the quality and therapeutic dosage of all the remedies I use and recommend to my clients, I have worked together with experts in the field of herbal remedies and homeopathy to develop my own range of remedies, manufactured according to the highest pharmaceutical standards. Over the years, I have been privileged to see these remedies help many people, without many of the side effects which accompany some prescription drugs.

Regarding myself, I am sure you know that I am a Clinical Psychologist by profession and registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.  As part of my training , I studied psychopharmacology and the effects of synthetic medicines on psychiatric disorders. During many years of practice in my field, however, I came to realize that the use of prescription medicine was not always the best choice for my clients and could even create additional problems for them - particularly with regard to the prescription medications for ADHD, anxiety and depression. Always having had an affinity for herbal and homeopathic medicine, I began to investigate herbal and homeopathic remedies as alternatives - and the rest, as they say, is history!

This was about 18 years ago and I now work together with a team of experts in the field of natural health - including herbalists, naturopaths, homeopaths, pharmacists and even a vet.  My original range was formulated to provide an alternative to the psychiatric drugs, but quickly expanded, due to demand, into the range you see today. What makes this so heartwarming and rewarding is precisely what you are seeing in the responses from people who express their gratitude and relief at being able to take a far gentler, yet very effective  approach to their healing. On a daily basis we receive feedback from women who have fallen pregnant after years of infertility, children who are able to function at school without Ritalin, people whose hypertension has been resolved and those who are again able to move without the pain of arthritis - the list goes on and on. I feel very humble and blessed to be able to help people in this way!

As for future plans, we are continually adding new products to our range and are also committed to the further development of an already solid support service to our customers as well as awareness building projects which provide customers with the tools they need to optimise their walk towards holistic health. I sometimes think that my company is as organic as the remedies we produce - it grows all the time in the best way possible!
